I purchased a 60" Proscan projection tv many years ago at a weight of around lbs and later determined it physically wouldn't fit down the stairs so I separated it into two sections. Two of us brought each section down the stairs and I reassembled it with no issues. I know when I have to remove the tv from our home I will once again have to dissemble it and use brute force.
This year I brought up a 50" Sony projection tv from the basement with only my son and it and since it fit and didn't need to be disassembled it was just a matter of some heavy lifting. If you have more people available it helps but limited space going up the stairs can be a problem. We had a similar TV in the basement a few years back.
My father and I got it out, just need a little muscle. And I hope you have a truck to transport it, lol. Easiest way up the stairs is laying blankets or towels on them and sliding the TV up on its smooth sides. If its actual trash, breaking it up would be easier. But then you might have to pay to dispose of it, might not count as e-waste free disposal on electronics.
