If you have a quest that is quite difficult it could be a number of things: The game's difficulty setting The level of the skills you are using affecting how well you can do combat the scaling, when combined with the difficulty setting, has made the enemies much too difficult The equipment you are currently using The combat strategy you have been using has been inefficient and it hasnt been a problem until now Try setting the difficulty lower and see how low it needs to go before it becomes managable.

I use fire runes to sneak attack individual coffins, so long as you don't go too far into a room - you only have to deal with one enemy at a time. While you watch, Farkas will transform into a werewolf and wipe out the opposition within seconds. After opening the gate, Farkas will reveal that only certain Companion members are blessed with the ability.
Proceed forward through the linear cave system until you reach the entrance to the second zone, Dustman's Crypt. After continuing through the next door, you will cross the bridge where you can see the lower room you are headed towards. If you stand idle in this caged walkway, at least one archer will attack you from the room below. After crossing the bridge, you will go around a corner and be in a long down-sloped hallway. If you run ahead to attack the Silver Hand, or choose to follow Farkas, a few draugr will awaken from the crypts lining the walls and attack you from behind.
Make your way through the crypt and fight all Silver Hand members and draugr. In the large chamber under the bridge, open the chest for the Dustman's Cairn Key and unlock the door to the north. A few skeevers will attack in the next tunnel. When you reach an alchemy lab , head east and fight the residing frostbite spiders , then head downstream using the small bridges and face the draugr.
Follow the linear path through the catacombs and open the iron door. The chamber ahead appears quiet at first, but the many sealed alcoves and coffins should hint at what to expect. Loot the many minor containers for treasure, then follow the map marker to the altar where the Fragment of Wuuthrad rests.
Proving honor, Farkas disappeared, how can I solve this? I started the quest 'proving honor' from the companion's guild and the quest told me to go talk to Farkas, but the quest marker points me to go inside Whiterun but when i'm in whiterun the marker moves to somewhere in the sea way up north, outside the game's borders.
With some glitching I was able to reach that marker only to find Farkas under water, where I couldn't talk to him. So can someone please help me, beacause I can't complete the companions guild questline right now User Info: otisdekoning. I think I can answer this User Info: Nightshaede. Try to see if he's stuck somewhere. Head into a niche filled with potions and pull the lever. This closes the gate on you and traps you inside. Farkas unleashes his secret power to defend himself against the ambush.
After being freed, proceed along the dusty corridors to the Dustman's Crypt. On the way, you will have plenty more Silver Hand humans to eliminate. Once in the crypt, though, most of the enemies you encounter are of the undead type. Push through the sporadic undead appearances until you're stopped by a door that absolutely requires a key.
Search the chest in the same room for Dustman's Cairn Key. A change of enemies: Skeevers start to make frequent appearances and you'll even have to squash some Frostbite Spiders.
