Or, you can participate in guided activities, such as full-moon and night hikes, to locate and learn about the amazing objects visible in the night sky. Waves of vibrant wildflowers wash over Idaho meadows, mountain slopes, and high desert landscape from spring to early summer.

Hells Canyon is also an important archaeological district, with indications humans lived here 15, years ago. The falls in downtown Idaho Falls only drop 22 feet 7 meters , but they stretch feet meters across the Snake River.
The town itself is the best city in eastern Idaho. It is the economic, arts and cultural center for the region. The water falls on the Snake River drop feet 65 meters , Niagara only falls feet 51 meters.
The best place to view the falls in a city park that has swimming, picnic and play areas, hiking trails and a boat ramp.
